The first horseback archery tournament at the Pegasus Horse Sport Club, Serpukhov
The first international tournament in horse archery “Cup of St. George the Victorious" was held in mid-jury this year. The organizers of the competition in this young sport were the "Federation of Horseback Archery", "Federation of Equestrian Sports of Russia" and "Federation of Equestrian Trick Riding".The venue was a specially prepared track on the territory of the equestrian club "Pegasus" in the Serpukhov district of Moscow region. The VEDA company acted as a partner of the event and took part in the award ceremony.
This spectacular and unusual event for our country brought together the best horseback archers from 18 countries: Russia, Canada, Iran, Bulgaria, Holland, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Poland, Finland, the USA, Turkey, Ireland, Syria, and others.
It was exciting that our Russian archers took worthy places at such a representative tournament: Pavel Polyakov took second place, and Sergey Ragozin - 5th place in the overall classification!
Congratulations to the participants and to all the winners on the excellent start of a new sport for us! We are pleased that the VEDA company took part in this. The results of the international tournament showed that horseback archers from Russia are ready to compete with the best representatives of countries from around the world!
